Welcome back to another episode of the Pelvic Health and Fitness Podcast. Rhonda here and I'm trying something different today. I am going to be chatting with you all. All about my strong at home membership. And at the same time I'm making an Instagram video just so people can have a brief intro, um, a little bit of an explanation into what the strong at home membership is all about.

So if you've been listening to the podcast for a while, you might have an idea about it. But I thought I would just give a little bit more info if you're interested. So right off the bat, I'll let you know that, uh, right now I'm doing a two week trial for 22. This is a really awesome way to get a sneak peek of the strong at home membership.

No strings attached. You don't have to sign up after the trial unless you want to. Um, and if you do, that's awesome. So I wanted to start off just with a little bit of why I started the strong at home membership. So I did share this as a reel on Instagram recently, but I'll talk a little bit about it right now on the podcast.

So when I was postpartum with my second daughter, I tried to get right back to CrossFit the same way I did with my first daughter. Um, and my body just wasn't quite ready. So the biggest symptom I dealt with was a bladder prolapse. And so I had a heaviness in my vagina anytime I tried to work out. And needless to say, I panicked, I freaked out, I felt super lost, and I stopped all exercise for a couple weeks.

And then after that, I basically went back to school and I began to learn about all things core and pelvic health. I became a certified pregnancy and postpartum athleticism coach through Brianna Battles and basically just learned everything that I didn't know. So even as a physiotherapist and a long time athlete, I was so clueless about my pelvic floor.

And so just really dove headfirst into all of that info. So after that, I slowly rehab my body. I worked on rehab exercises for my pelvic floor that I had never done before. And started to realize if I was feeling this lost and I was a physio and an athlete, For sure there has to be other moms that feel the same.

So, I actually started out by working with a couple of friends who had just had babies. And I worked with them for free and just had them try what is now called the Strong at Home Membership. I had them try the same rehab workouts that I did for myself. And they had great success and they felt really great with the exercises too.

So I thought this was something. And basically turned that into what is now called the Strong at Home Membership. And so what it is is a monthly online workout program. So it's for women from six weeks postpartum to even many years postpartum. So the way I have the membership set up is the beginning workouts are very foundational, very rehab focused, um, help you ease back into exercise, whether you're postpartum, post injury, it works really well or post, I always say post exercise hiatus.

So if you've been away from exercise for a while and you just need some guidance to ease back in. really great program for that as well. So the way the workouts are designed is they monthly every month, they progress a little more in terms of volume and intensity, um, and difficulty of the movements, uh, to get you back into exercise slowly.

And so, I do have clients that have been in the membership, um, which I'm super grateful for, for over two years at this point. Um, I'd say most clients stay anywhere between nine months, six months to nine months is sort of the average. Um, and just get really strong, get really confident in their bodies, really start to trust their bodies again.

Get back to all the activities they love to do with a lot more trust in their bodies I'm just really proud of this program and I'm excited to have more people join So if you're interested there again, there's a two week trial happening right now Again, no strings attached. But if you do decide that you want to continue on the membership itself is 1.

29 a month and that's a recurring credit card payment There is no minimum commitment, and you can cancel at any time. So, I hope that clarifies what the Strong at Home membership actually is a little bit. Um, the program itself only includes dumbbells, which was important to me as well, just to make it super accessible.

The workouts are all 30 minutes or less, and so they're easy, hopefully, to fit into your mom life, and there's only three workouts a week, and I always tell my clients, to ditch the all or nothing mindset. So even if you only do one or two a week or you only fit part of the workout in in your day, then that still counts.

And I'm in there encouraging you all along, um, giving you tips and advice. If you're dealing with symptoms or pain, I can give you extra physiotherapy type exercises if needed. And I provide a ton of encouragement in there as well. Um, I'm all about the gifts. Um, so it's in what's called true coach, which is a free app.

And so it doesn't cost you anything to download. It's super easy to access on your phone. And I include YouTube video demos of all of the exercises. So you're never lost wondering what each movement is. There's a demo of me doing it right in the app. Um, and there's also mobility included at the end of each session with some pelvic floor relaxation.

I also love to provide a lot of education for my clients. So I have a whole webpage that I send you with educational videos. And also we have a private Instagram group where I post extra content as well. And tips if you're dealing with any. issues or questions about movements or injuries or symptoms. I answer those in Instagram as well.

So yeah, I think that covers the basics. I didn't want to make this too long. Um, if you do have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. I do offer a free 15 minute chat. So if you want to hop on a chat and just get your questions answered before you sign up, um, I would love to chat with you. So I will drop the link in the show notes of this podcast episode, um, for the two week trial.

And again, if you want to continue on after, I would love to have you. Thanks everyone for listening and have a great day. Thanks for listening to today's podcast. We hope you enjoyed the conversation. If you liked what you heard, we would love if you could share this with a friend, leave us a review, or subscribe to anywhere that you listen to your podcasts.

    Thanks for being here.
